On behalf of the MIS community, I would like to welcome you to our site. MIS is the only true international school in Medan. What makes us an international school? Our student body is composed of students from Australia, China, England, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, South Korea, Switzerland, United States, Yemen and Indonesia. We are the only school in Medan accredited by a United States based accrediting agency, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. We are the only school in Medan following the International Baccalaureate Programme, a worldwide programme found in over 140 countries. Our foreign staff is certified in their home country and have worked in international schools around the world. Our local staff is among the most qualified in Medan. In addition to this, we are a non-profit institution. All fees are invested in our students, staff and facilities. Because of our small enrollment, we maintain a low teacher to student ratio as well as a family atmosphere.
